There's a LOT of classic games which would have made great posters. It's too bad he had to stop at 4. I'd like to have seen what he'd have done with Pac Man, Defender, Missile Command or Asteroids.

Probably not, but it may have been the first game to have been surpassed by its sequel.

No compared to Ms. Pacman. Incidentally, I currently live in a city where most people have the Pacman physique. It's a bit disturbing.

Now, now, rawkr. We accept young people around here. Not everyone is old enough to remember these games. You can learn to win at any age.

On the other hand, anyone who isn't old enough to remember Megaman is also not old enough to use the internet without parental supervision. We do have SOME standards.

The Flying V - the only guitar so cool, even Brian May had to set aside his Red Special and use one for a video.

I hate to disapploint you, but Brian May didn't really play a Flying V for the Princes of the Universe video. There was a problem of some sort with the Red Special, so someone loaned him the Flying V for the video, but that was just pluck-syncing. When the song was actually recorded, he used the Red Special.

That's all cool, though. The Red Special is even cooler than a Flying V. How many people have a home-made guitar which set new standards for all guitars to come?

All true, but even so, he still used a Flying V for the video.

As I heard it, the "problem" with the Red Special was that it hadn't arrived on time. He still chose the Flying V over other guitars present.

Granted, for the purpose of emoting in front of a camera for the video, he did use a Flying V.

Last time I went by Milano's Musicland, they had them in canary yellow, hot pink, black and flames, and leopard spots. I wanted the leopard spot one, but it was way too expensive.

My dad used to have this Neon Purple Jackson V-style. Not the same thing but it looked epic and its edges were sharp enough to kill a man. It sounded great too. I cried when he sold that guitar...

@iDigit Nobody would buy a guitar-colored Flying V. If you're going to buy a fancy guitar, you buy a FANCY guitar. If you want a "normal" guitar, you just get a stratocaster.

You know, in this day and age, I've yet to see a game where you can ride around on an armored ostrich lancing outlaw knights while you flutter from one platform to the next.

I think today's gaming companies are ostrich bias.

Except for THQ. Red Faction Guerrilla <3

@iDigit What do you mean, "normal Flying V?" There is no such thing as "Normal" for a guitar that cool. It has to be unique!

@TamaraLane Well there is that and the fact that Red Faction Guerrella's ostrich hammer came with the April Fool's tag line of "Bird Fucked" as a term for pwnage but yeah, the mounting of ostriches as a sexual innuendo is also funny. LoL

I've heard of some people wanting to have sex with ducks myself.

In fact there are several people I know that just shout out "Oh Fuck a Duck!"

But they usually say that when they're mad.
