The Wii-ification of an otherwise great franchise has marred it in every way possible. Sneaking is not everything, it is the only thing. Freedom to choose paths and methods for completing objectives is gone. No longer can you improvise if spotted, you merely are kicked back to the previous checkpoint. The grappling hook... well... what grappling hook? Ninjas climb on boxes, according to the latest iteration. The first level pissed me off so much I didn't dare continue. The paths are so rigidly defined they may as well have neon signs pointing them out, and they practically do. If this is what Tenchu is like on the Wii, count me out.
